Jack Turns 3

Jack had a wonderfully blessed birthday! He woke up super happy and excited for the events to come! I made him his favorite breakfast, green pancakes! I left a little later to get the party set up and Jack came later with my Mom (Nama). We had it at this beautiful park under a gazebo. It was perfect for all the little kiddos. Plenty of open space to run around, and we had bubbles and snacks and coloring sheets! He loved opening his presents and of course eating a cupcake (or two)!

Later that evening we had just family over to the house for cake and ice cream and some more presents! My Mom made a magnificent monkey cake that was almost too perfect to cut in to! Jack loved it! He got some great books, some fun bug catching things, CARS stuff, some puzzles, some clothes and a Radio Flyer Slider Trike and helmet! He was pretty excited and wasted no time jumping on!

In Oregon the law is anyone on a bike under the age of 16 must wear a helmet, and I think the perfect time to train them to do this is when they get a trike! That way, it becomes second nature and they don't fight it! Plus, why not do everything you can to protect that little sweet head! :)

All in all it was a fabulous day, despite the fact that I have a nasty cold :( Hoping the babies don't get it!! Enjoy the pictures!
