Today is not only the 10th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our country, but it is also National Grandparents Day!
What a great thing to celebrate!
I have some amazing Grandparents.
My Dad's Mom (Nana) I never met, but I look forward to meeting her in heaven. My Dad looks like her, and I look a lot like my Dad, so that makes me smile :)
My Dad's Dad (Grampy) lives in Washington and we don't see him as often as we want, but with my sister getting married soon we will!! He gave me my German heritage!
My Mom's Dad (Papa C) passed away the same day Jack was born, we hadn't been close for much of my childhood, but the last years were some of the greatest. He truley loved us.
My Mom's Dad (step-dad, but he wasn't called that!!) Was my Grandpa. We had a special bond and he passed away the year after Trevor and I married. I was with him when he went to meet Jesus, and I look forward to his big hugs again!!
My Mom's Mom. My Grandma and now Jack's GG!
One of the most amazing woman I have ever met, and I adore her.
So does Jack.
I am truly blessed to have her in my life.
Trevor's Grandparents live in Minnesota, and they are some of the most incredible people you will ever meet, and they are MY Grandparent's too. I love them dearly.
And Jack.
Jack has 4 incredible Grandparents. My parents and Trevor's parents are 4 of the best you could ask for and I am so thankful our children have them.
My parents have been married for 30 years, and his parents for 40 years.
They love God and eachother and their Grandchildren reign supreme!!
Happy Grandparents Day!!
We love you ALL!!
Love it! Happy Grandparents day indeed!
