Picture-less Posting

I got a little note from Blogger saying I can't upload anymore pictures because I've met my quota.

I didn't know there was a quota.

I'm frustrated.
Whatever decision I make, I end up having to spend money.

Either I pay for more storage, or pay to move to Wordpress.

It's dumb.

That's all I have to say.

Sad Face.

  2. I JUST got that note myself. When we got internet at the house. I decided that blogging is important enough to justify the expense, but I was frustrated, that's for sure!

PS- Thank you always for all your kind words on my posts. I am really glad you enjoyed my life story. It was hard to write, and I have received some flack for being so honest, but I felt like it was important.

  3. Oh seriously?!? I haven't gotten that note yet. Hmmm, that stinks. No wonder everyone is moving to Wordpress.

  4. I believe you can still imbed pictures via host sites like Photobucket or Picasa. There is a certain HTML code that those websites give you for posting.

A little trick is to always save a "blog copy" of your photo in a very low resolution. It not only helps safeguard your pics from theft (as in, they are horrible quality if someone tries to print them for advertisement purposes), it also saves a LOT of space on Blogger. And really, it doesn't affect the quality seen on the computer screen much. I save all of mine meant for the blog at 300kb or lower.
